In our district, the principal of each school decides how much money goes to each extracurricular. We've had relatively good luck in the past, but there was some mix-up so this year we actually don't have as much funding as we expected. Hence my slightly miffed response to Devari saying we're "funded like crazy".

we (gelinas) probably lost a bunch of funding this year. from the school and other sponsors, just because of the state of things.
and we lost some really good 10th graders too.

I got 1st in Anatomy (yayay!!), 1st in Experimental, and 7th in Disease. (Eastern LI)
