My handwriting isn't *quite* that bad… At least not in that respect...

Lol, my handwriting can be neat if I want it to be and when I don't scribble through my work (which is like never, but, oh well) Even when I'm writing neatly, I'm still too lazy to draw perfect little circles at the end of each sentence, so I just resorted to draw minuscule vertical lines. Which works amazingly until people confuse those with my commas. My commas are usually curved, but when I start writing really fast, you can't distinguish between a comma and a period... Guess I know what to work on now

It can be a circle in other languages, and habits generally carry through, even if you're writing in English.

If you are going to be a prescriptivist, don't use slang.

Slang is technically still correct grammar as it's basically just an English dialect. If you don't consider slang to be proper grammar, then you're saying that all dialects are improper grammar which is untrue.
Also, I'm somewhat a prescriptivist (I still don't know whether I can consider myself one) and I use slang too.
