Results from this weekend's tournaments will surely be public on Avogadro soon. I haven't checked because I'm exhausted, but...

How does a team qualify for nationals? And also, can an individual qualify for nationals, or only a team?

By being in the top one or two in the state (for Illinois, 2 teams). And no, only teams can qualify; this has been discussed many times before, and there is also a page on the official Science Olympiad website here.

By the way, who purchases the state shirts? :? I'd have figured that most folks attending the State tournament come wearing one already.

Hey all, long time no talk-see-compete against-high five-ect

For those who remember me, I was a participant for many years in HS and now a sophomore in Aerospace Engineering at University of Illinois.
I make this offer out to anyone interested in engineering, Illinois, or Aerospace Engineering in general:

The same day as SO state, is Illinois Space Day (ISD) that clubs and research programs in the AE department puts up. It's an awesome time to hear real professionals talk, learn about space, 3D printing, ect between events.
Moreover, anyone that wants a personal guided tour of the engineering school or explanation of cool stuff in research going on or wants to learn about Aerospace at Illinois, I'm open and will be around!
