Re: Site features? (again)
I think some sort of karma system would be helpful in knowing someone's credibility on events but it has no use in random stuff like General Chat.

Maybe there could be some sort of "rate that reply" thing and each person would then have their average stars next to their name.

Wouldn't that be just like the karma system that DS talked about?haven chuck wrote:Maybe there could be some sort of "rate that reply" thing and each person would then have their average stars next to their name.

Re: Site features? (again)
The New Image Index is now linked in the gallery sidebar. It shows the last 60 images that have been uploaded, so should be a easy way to check if you have missed any.
The day counter for displaying the "new" tag was reduced from 10 days to 5.
SiegeLord fixed way the subalbums appear on the index, so they are kinda inline and indented instead of randomly located.
The "Headline:" text for comments didn't seem useful at all, but it was mandatory. It now longer appears when submitting comments or displaying them.
SiegeLord also added the [wiki][/wiki] link to the sidebar of the gallery and the Image Gallery link to the side of the Wiki, so everything is fully interconnected.

-The gallery code's functionality is new

Should be an easy way to link to one of the galleries on the forum without having to navigate to it.

Re: Site features? (again)
When someone posts in the Posting Games forum, can you just turn one of three flasks on the main icon red?

I'd rather none of them turned red.
Wait, no, I'd rather there were no posting games...

Re: Site features? (again)
I'd prefer just having the three flasks icon turn red when posts in Gen Chat are new. If new posting games/polls posts show up, then just turn the tiny little flask left of the link on the home page red or something.

Re: Site features? (again)
Well, regardless...having unique flasks light up isn't just an option we can just select and doesn't seem worth trying to mod. My solution is better anyway.
