Wait, couldn't a pathogen be radiation? It causes disease.

Nope. radiation is an agent of disease, but not a pathogen. A pathogen has to be biotic (Not necessarily alive, like viruses and prions). Also, you don't become "infected" by radiation.

Again those are types of hosts i was going for....

1) behavior
2) genetic predisposition
3) immunologic factors
4) personal traits

Yes, those aren't types of hosts but they would answer his original question where they are ways of classifying hosts.
