Don't start sentences with conjunctions.

Good night.

By the way, I prefer "grammar aficionado."

What did you guys think about the Nationals test?

I thought it was a pretty good test. Interesting story and not too hard/easy.

I definitely concur. The test was super cool.

Congrats on 4th in the nation! We took 11th.

The test was very good and well written, and the supervisor was helpful.

Were any of the top teams able to finish the test? (like, top 20)

Yeah my partner and I were able to finish the test with a little spare time (~1-2 minutes)
My partner asked a lot of questions and the superviser joked that there would be a fee for asking him more questions :D

We took 11th, barely finished the test but missed the last question in the manila folder - didn't realize it existed :(

Yeah, we certainly got lucky enough to get 11th, especially because we weren't able to go back and check our answers and we missed one question! Anyway, congrats on everyone who took the test! I hope you enjoyed taking it (not because of the story-we never read it!) but because of the lack of ambiguity in the writing of the test. Even for those who didn't do well, you can still look at it as "we are the __th best pair of students to turn to in the country if one is lost and need help!" That's how I like to look at it, anyway, even though we did pretty well.
