I'll also be at Rustin. I'll probably be helping out with Boomilever most of the day. I'll be wearing a Drexel shirt and my purple East Stroudsburg bag will probably be nearby, with the logo you can find in my sig. As long as I'm not in the middle of doing something with a team, feel free to say hi!

Congrats to all the teams who were at Rustin today! If you were at Forestry, then we met indirectly (I was the guy supervising during all the time blocks). If you want, let me know what you thought of the test and I will pass it on the coach who made it.

School Results from Rustin:
1. Paul J. Gelinas
2. Eagle Hill
3. Strath Haven
4. Whitehall Coplay
5. Seton Catholic Central
6. Allen
Note that multiple teams are not counted in these results. Otherwise you'd see a lot more of Gelinas.

Oh, my gosh, I met you! I was the Chinese girl from Gelinas who a) came in during the last timeslot to meet with her partner right before the event because I had been sick and sleeping in the nurse's office and b) almost forgot her cell phone and had to come back for it as you were scoring.
I thought the test was really, really easy honestly. Some of the answers were dead givaways, and we had more time than we needed. The level of dificulty was lower than a Regional, which may make sense, due to the fact that it's still a few months before the NY Regional tournaments.
Also, it's sort of a lot of pressure when every other question is a tie breaker. Were a lot of ties broken at this event? I feel like the event was very close, like only a few questions and/or tie breakers separated the the winning teams. My partner and I were the fourth place team from Gelinas Varsity (#19), and two of my Forestry students placed sixth.
Is there an event spreadsheet or something from this tournament with the scores online?

I thought the Rustin Invitational was great. All my events were run and timed to perfection. I agree that the Forestry test was easy, but it was a decent test (and organized well, thank goodness). Dynamic Planet and Disease Detectives were great!
Computergeek, I saw you! You handed me several medals, and you proctored forestry in my time slot. I was the tall boy from Strath Haven.
