That adds another tally to the sources that say so, so I'll go with depositional. Thank you!PacificGoldenPlover wrote:Kettle Lakes are depositional landforms, similar to kames.

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
On the scioly wiki outline (http://scioly.org/wiki/images/6/61/Glacier_outline.pdf), it mentions "Digenic ice mounds and pedestals." Is "digenic" a typo? I didn't think this was Designer Genes. Does anyone have more information about what this is supposed to be?

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
It should be "diagenic".

Thanks so much, Shad 160. I'll look into the book you suggested!

Thanks PacificGoldenPlover. That makes more sense. Does anyone know any websites for them? This is all I could find: http://www.prairie.illinois.edu/shilts/ ... 0018.shtml
Also, does anyone have any practice tests?

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
what else do you think we would need to know under
i. theories explaining glacial and ice sheet advance and retreat
other than Milankovich cycles

Hey, I can't figure out why the rules have us bring a calculator . Has anyone seen any math come up or found important formulas that we should know? Thanks.
Also - Curly - I haven't found any other theories besides the Milankovitch one out there either...

I think we might need it to do mass balance or albedo's equation. Also we might use it to do conversions for the topographic maps.

I have seen in some places that tectonic plate activity, atmospheric composition, and particulate matter ejected by volcanoes have also been sited for glacial movement.curly657 wrote:what else do you think we would need to know under

What exactly do you mean by "albedo's equation"? Thanks!curly657 wrote: I think we might need it to do mass balance or albedo's equation. Also we might use it to do conversions for the topographic maps.
EDIT: Also, are moraines depositional or erosional landforms?
