14 billion dollar package for the auto companies failed in the Senate. The White House jumps in and plans to use TARP money to prop up the companies.

The Federal Reserve has cut the Federal Funds rate to a range of 0 to 0.25 %. This is unprecedented action. For one, they've never target a percentage range. For another, this target is at the lowest ever in the Fed's history.
The Federal Reserve says that "labor market conditions have deteriorated, and the available data indicate that consumer spending, business investment, and industrial production have declined. Financial markets remain quite strained and credit conditions tight. Overall, the outlook for economic activity has weakened further."
Also, OOPS on the US Dollar Index?

I say that we should just start a new world war, those always help our economy.

Well right now the stock isnt doing that bad but... its not doing that well. Some people say that the new year will bring better times. Right now I say the U.S.A needs GREAT times.
