If it was the whole arm, it was a Velociraptor. If it was the forearm or humerus, I would guess Deinonychus.

i asked the guy who ran it after the competition (i think he was from Kellenberg) and although it was a forearm, it was in fact a velociraptor.

and just an FYI: you will probably have an issue at state if you want to do both fossils and ornithology.

it seems that they misspelled therapsids as theraspids.

Oh well. I think theraspid actually sounds better, but that doesn't make it correct.

yea. i hope that they either correct or mark the wrong spelling as wrong on tests, to make sure that the people who do fossils pay attention to the list.
