We will not be ordering custom-printed discs. I heard back from Discraft, and we'd have to pay around $200-300 for a rush printing, and Jazzy, our coach, and I decided it'd be too expensive, not to mention a major hassle.

The last paragraph:

"National Teams: Want to start this year's competition with an Ultimate Frisbee tournament on Friday, May 21st? At 1pm in the quad, there will be an informal tournament to have fun and get to know your future competitors. If you have interested members (preferably at least seven people), send an email to [email protected] with your school name, state, and division. Both B and C divisions are welcome to play! Send emails as soon as possible so the tournament brackets can be made. This tournament is hosted by the Science Olympiad team from East View High School in Apple Valley, Minnesota."

At least theres some publicity now. :)

You would probably kill someone with it, but I could make a "trophy" aluminum frisbee.

Something like this:

A basic graphic would be possible too.

The other option is to just spray paint somehting onto frisbees. It could say- "Scioly Nationals 2010" pretty simply, but it'd be cool (and fairly cheap) for a bunch of people to be using the same frisbee. Also, the trophy idea looks really cool.

If I happen to not have any tests that Friday, maybe. Just depends.

WI is interested but to put together a team, we may need a couple of coaches and students form both divisions, depending on the high school head coach's approval. How would that work?
