Re: Dynamic Planet (Oceanography)
It asked if I knew that...
I came across a question like that at Regions one year... Except I did know what it was asking about, so I said said "yes." I've never been sure if it was correct, though, since we don't get the tests back.

Since this is starting to die down...
1. What does CTD in a CTD device stand for?
2. Describe the sequence of atoll formation. Who proposed it?
3. What is a tombolo?

Re: Dynamic Planet (Oceanography)
Erm... Sorry... Is it a site-wide issue, or are the hide tags not working only for me? But I can see it if I quote, so should be fine.AlfWeg wrote:SilverBreeze wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 1:48 pm Since this is starting to die down...

Re: Dynamic Planet (Oceanography)
It's a site-wide thing. The only way to fix it is to go into your User Control Panel, and then go to Board Preferences. At the bottom, there'll be a box. It should say "scioly_old." Change that to "scioly," click Save, and they should work. It also changes the side that the user information is on and the font. The information is alright, but I personally despise the font.SilverBreeze wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 1:16 pmErm... Sorry... Is it a site-wide issue, or are the hide tags not working only for me? Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the font, but I definitely got used to it.Things2do wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 5:29 pmIt's a site-wide thing. 1) If a wind moves parallel to the equator, moving towards the east in the northern hemisphere, which way will it curve to(Equator or Poles)? Why?
2) What is Coriolis acceleration?
