Memorial 296
Chardon 298

Hudson 330

Hm, that's probably closer than most people expected. I originally had Solon at the number 2 spot on my submission for midseason poll #2 but dropped them to 4 before submitting... maybe that was a mistake.

28th in WIDI and not a full team there? 99 pretty impressive

Ah, didn't know they didn't have a full team.

Umaroth mentioned earlier that there are some rumors of Kennedy only bringing a 10 person team. But since Div B teams have 47 event slots to fill, it just doesn't seem very feasible for there to be that 4.7 events per person average (also assuming that Div B had some interesting conflicts like Div C). Perhaps the way that they blocked mechanicals with self-schedule events made a difference, but who knows. If it wasn't a full team I'd guess maybe 12-13(?) at the very least, or maybe they did bring a full team. At this point, it's honestly all just speculation.

EDIT:

Nice performance regardless! Even though I'm obviously still going to root for Solon

Also, for personal curiosity, why choose Mentor over Centerville or Solon?

Solon was the same day as Jeffery trail and Christensen, Centerville was the same day as Kennedy.

I don't think it's that unreasonable. When Seven Lakes went to GGSO in my junior year, we took a small team (much less than 15 people) and most of us did 4-6 events, picking up new events we had never done before (e.g. I did DP and Water Quality, which I had never done before).

I'm buying into the Kennedy hype.

So Churchill didn't go to Jeffery Trail? I saw they won #1 in Solon invite, and their score 82 is better than Kennedy's 99.

Could be a very interesting NorCal state competition this year.

Churchill did not attend JT. We did have Kennedy, who won with what I believe was also a partial team.

Seeing as only New Albany and West-Lib remain for the invitationals, anyone have predictions for states? I think Div C is gonna be fun this year with Centerville looking stronger than they have the past few years
