We haven't seen their varsity yet, but results like these are very interesting. It's also peculiar that Marquette is coming to more Illinois invites. Just trying to get more invys in I guess.
Everyone knows all the good invites are in IL. ;) Come to the CLC invite next year lol.

And now the race for state begins...
Any predictions for regional upsets and top 10 at state?

I think the top 5 schools will remain the same as last year, though not necessarily in the same order. I think I remember UC Lab Schools doing pretty well at an invitational this year but it seems like some results may have been removed from avogadro? 6-10 seems a lot less set in stone this year with some of the 6th-10th place teams from last year placing below some other schools. Though I feel like we have a lack of invitational results to look at, so I'll definitely wait until after regionals to make more specific predictions. However, based on the results I have access to, Walter Payton, Lisle, and Warren Township seem to have made significant improvements from last year.

Here's what I will say: specifically for Division C, it doesn't look like the top 5 will change. I do think the top 10, even the top 20, has potential to change quite a bit. It's going to be very hard to predict state placements for high school. Division B seems to have a clearer picture of which teams have the potential to be top 10. Additionally, I think top 5 for middle school has some open slots.

Look, first we have to know who qualifies. I probably won't be predicting anything for state until regionals are done. Not only do I think this is fair, but I honestly just need more scores in order to come to any conclusions.
