Yes, I understand. I was asking two separate questions there.

Yes - I was at the St. Joe's (Buffalo) one on Saturday - I was the supervisor for Trajectory.

I don't think there were any teams there from outside our region (Lake Erie/Niagara). There were about 15-20 teams total.

Only 5 teams participated in Trajectory. The winning score was 194.5. However, this team only had 2 graphs and thus only received a deduction of 200 graph points. Had they had all four graphs, they would have had a score of -5.5, which I thought was pretty impressive. They hit the bucket but did not go in on a bucket shot.

Second place was 232.0 but only had 200 graph points - they could have had 32.0 if they had all the graphs. Third place was 348.5 but they only had 1 graph - they could have had 58.5 if they had all the graphs. Fourth place had 617.0 and no graphs. Fifth place had 588.0 (no graphs either) but was built to last years specs and was ranked in tier 2.

I don't have the final results for all the events or rankings as there was no ceremony or anything at the end and I didn't stick around until all the events were over. But I can probably get them.

Is anyone going to the Athens, PA Invitational next weekend? I know it's not actually in NY, but I've heard a lot of NY teams go. WM is going this year.

I didn't go, but I heard they got 4th or 5th overall, and a couple of 1sts, a 2nd, 2 3rds, and a 4th. They didn't have a sumo bot because that teammate was ill, and the normal Mousetrap person wasnt there, so a vehicle malfunction got them DQed or tiered or something. And, if you're Ward Melville, we played against a few of your teammates at the Half Hollow Hills West Quizbowl tournament today.
