I like using Arial Narrow, imo the most efficient font for cheatsheets.Rivkaaa wrote: We made our information a 4-5 font, Arial, and were able to squeeze in bigger pictures of important things, such as the periodic table, as well as charts to help us fill questions out as quickly and accurately as possible. We still have space left over, so it's a bonus for us to add whatever we need to in the days leading up to states.

I use a google slide in 8.5x11 and size 6 EB Garamond. As for the periodic table, try to memorize the symbols and get one with color-coded electronegativity. (Like this:

Re: Potions and Poisons B
I would definitely recommend putting a periodic table on your cheat sheet if possible!! It is essential to certain problems and we have only been provided it once or twice (while we were testing back at bay). States will probably not provide a periodic table for you, so it’s better to just put it on your chest sheet. It’s come in handy on every test we’ve had.19alekb wrote:we havent ever used the periodic table we put on the note sheet. it has always been given to us when it was needed in the test. idk if i should just include it anyways

Re: Can't judge a powder
I think next year this category will change to Can't judge a powder and am wondering about any tips and what they might have as a rule sheet.

Next year it is changing to food science and no one really knows what the theme will be. I was hoping for Can't Judge A Powder, but that's how the cookie crumbled.

Re: Food science
Food Science is a event where you do science related to foods. This is the page for it.randomolympiadkid8 wrote:Rip, what is food science about because maybe I'll still be interested in that.

Re: Potions and Poisons B
lowkey u dont really need a cheatsheet for this event because the cheatsheet is really just a studying tool. Like at IL states, my partner and I used the cheat sheet only once to look at molar mass, and the rest we just memorized, and we still placed well.
