Bruh... Wydown was missing their 5 best people because of a school science event.Unome wrote:Based on these, I find it very unlikely for Wydown to come anywhere close to Ladue at state. Manually stacking yields 35 vs. 66, and with many more gold medals for Ladue (many gold medals at a lower-level tournament is often a good indicator of success at higher-level tournaments, distinguishing teams with otherwise similar performances).dxu46 wrote:Okay well I can't upload files so

Sorry what school puts on their "school science event" on the day they know their regional competition is?JVallurup47 wrote:Bruh... Just think of wydowns growth. There is probably no team that has made it to nationals in their 3rd year competing in science olympiad.Unome wrote:dxu46 wrote:Coming up. Will edit soon.Unome wrote: Would any of you mind posting the scoresheet from said regionals? It would help greatly in predicting.

Div B teams that qualified earlier, off the top of my head:JVallurup47 wrote:Just think of wydowns growth. There is probably no team that has made it to nationals in their 3rd year competing in science olympiad.Unome wrote:dxu46 wrote: Coming up. Will edit soon.

Springhouse (2nd year, 17th)
Sewickley (1st year, 39th; 2nd year, 13th)
Chippewa (1st year, 29th; 2nd year, 17th)
So while a 3rd year qualification is impressive, it's far from unprecedented.
