Based on these, I find it very unlikely for Wydown to come anywhere close to Ladue at state. Manually stacking yields 35 vs. 66, and with many more gold medals for Ladue (many gold medals at a lower-level tournament is often a good indicator of success at higher-level tournaments, distinguishing teams with otherwise similar performances).
Bruh... Wydown was missing their 5 best people because of a school science event.

Sorry what school puts on their "school science event" on the day they know their regional competition is?

Coming up. Will edit soon.

EDIT: How do you attach files?

Just think of wydowns growth. There is probably no team that has made it to nationals in their 3rd year competing in science olympiad.

My team made it in our second and third years...
"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12

I have no regrets.

Div B teams that qualified earlier, off the top of my head:

Springhouse (2nd year, 17th)
Sewickley (1st year, 39th; 2nd year, 13th)
Chippewa (1st year, 29th; 2nd year, 17th)

So while a 3rd year qualification is impressive, it's far from unprecedented.
