Lmao k
That’s insane. Their car must’ve ran four exactly 6.4 seconds and right on the dot or a few seconds and a cm or two off.

That is an amazing score if true. One issue we've encountered, to put it nicely, are less than ideal floors. At NorCal State the event was run on a soft tile floor that had a pretty high coefficient of friction. The tiles were uneven and pretty bumpy (or rough), so it tended to favor slower cars. Our vehicle, which was the fastest one in the competition (8 second run time, 2.8 distance), hit something on the floor, knocking it slightly off line. What is disconcerting is that there was a recently refinished gym floor that was nearly perfect for the competition, but apparently the head supervisor couldn't convince CSU Stanislaus administration to use it.

Does anyone know what distance this score was achieved with? If this score was for a 4m distance, that would be insane...

What will it take to medal at nats? Under 8 score? 7? 6?

Also, how do you all get such light wheels? Ours are about 100g in total (banebot 2 7/8 inch).

Nationals score predictions?

I’d say

1: 8
2-6: ~10
7-10: ~15

For a distance around 3m. Maybe overestimating a bit but getting a vehicle under 8 will be super tough and needs a bit of luck imo
