I heard shadyside middle school has a good tower builder and might get first or second at the Solon invite.

I have a strange feeling that they are going to get a high score.Pettywap wrote:interestingCow481 wrote:I heard shadyside middle school has a good tower builder and might get first or second at the Solon invite.
Solon seems unusually weak in some of their events. Although they had strong showings in a lot of events, They had multiple bombs in events that aren't very volatile. Meanwhile, Centerville, Mason, and Mentor all look stronger. This year so far doesn't look to be Solon's.pikachu4919 wrote:Live awards tracker w/o overall team predictor for Centerville Invite: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0
Edit: Results:
*notes: only one team per school (the highest placing team) gets a trophy, and the Centerville HS teams didn't get any regardless of where they placed since they were the hosts
Div B:
8. New Albany
7. Baker
6. Piedmont IB
5. Meads Mill
4. Marie Murphy
3. Solon
2. Daniel Wright
1. Beckendorff
Div C:
8. Lake Central
7. DuPont Manual
6. Sylvania Northview
5. Solon
4. Carmel
3. Northville
2. Mason
1. Mentor
Obviously Centerville excelled, but I don't think Solon's performance is indicative of anything particularly alarming from their point of view. They're right in the thick of things with the other three teams.Unome wrote:Unome wrote:Taking the best result for each event yields interesting stuff:
1. Centerville (75)

6. Northville (243)
Compared to their performances last year they don't appear to be at nearly the same level but I agree that they shouldn't be counted out. Centerville however had an amazing tournament.EastStroudsburg13 wrote:It's tough to say that when Solon's teams were so heavily unstacked.
