Contradiction was correct, for the other clue: check how many days are between the first date and the last date.

And also, I said I wouldn't have time to think of clues. I made a list of clues ahead of time; still have four unused probably.

Well, I just got back from a remarkably intensive week-long Marchng Band camp. There isn't really much I could have done to get internet access. AND I am going to another week-long camp starting on Monday. Right now I wouldn't have the time or energy to think up clues.

I really like this quote. Although I very well could have lied if I wanted (Assassinators in previous rounds have often done it) I managed to stick entirely to the truth while convincingly taking the suspicion away. (I had most of these clues worked out several weeks ago, that is why no one was ever really targeted twice.)

The clues were meant to be simpler than the intensely cipher-based multi-step clues of the past games.

I must admit, I am not very proud of my first two clues. Due to circumstances out of my control, they were not quite what I wanted.

Solutions: Clue 1-The last line of it was the key, it said "questions, questions." That was supposed to imply that you only use the lines with the question marks. If you took the 1st letter of each of those lines and put it into a ROT13 cipher, you got dinobotguy, backwards. robodude and paleonaps95 should have died.

Clue 5- If you took the fully solved puzzle and read it backwards, the line read PATUXETSTISQUANTUM. Tisquantum was the full name of Squanto and he belonged to the Patuxet tribe.

Clue 10- There were 225 numbers and anyone with sufficient math experience should realize that is 15^2. If an arbitrary color system was imposed, a result would yield something like this: http://i30.tinypic.com/11kh6w4.jpg -- EpicFailOlympian was about to die.

And to all future Assassinators, the single most effective tool to induce nonsensical accusations would be to kill DS. Thanks for not ratting on me DS.

You had it all planned out really well, Paradox. You were probably one of, if not the most organized assassinator. That really helps.

Good job for being able to pull that off- I don't think many people would be able to do so. I certainly don't think I'd be able to get away with killing DS. This means that people think of mods, admins; people who in general would have the ability to kill him.

But I disagree about that being the single most effective tool. You discussed on chat that you were able to mix up your speech patterns. You did it very effectively, as I can normally get a general idea and use some keywords to help narrow down the suspect list. It's hard to disguise language- I can't stand improper grammar, and I would involuntarily try to be as precise as possible in terms of spelling and grammar. And some previous assassinators appeared to have no idea what grammar was at all.

Bottom line: You flat-out played one of the best assassination games ever. It was clearly thought through. Well done.

Actually, I think that a lot of people could get away with killing DS, as long as you got his permission first, of course. But I don't think he cares that much.
