I said this (jokingly) to the guy who sits next to me in geometry when he refused to do the ninja-star disguised as a Christmas wreath activity in Geometry.

Geometry is fun...

We had this motivational speaker come by and she was saying "love is a verb! That boy doesn't love you, he verbs you! Now put that camera/phone down and put some clothes on!" and my 7th hour teacher was saying "I agree with her. Boys will never love you! They just want your body."
*eyes every guy in class down*
Me: "Why are you staring at me?"
Entire class: *laugh*

PS- I wasn't trying to be funny.
also, my school hires an odd amount of motivational speakers for a mid-school of our size (i.e. 4-5 for a 400< student population), does anyone else's school do that?

In general, our school has about that number of motivational speakers for more than 1100 kids.

we have 2 b teams, so if we study together it's 30 people, but often we study seperately-varstiy and jv
and um, weird stuff, hm. . . oh yeah! there was some creepy rapist guy in the girls' locker rooms and supposedly the ancient history teacher ran him down. like, apparently she ran him down-literally-like sprinting down the hallway and tackled him.
and we have a life skills day with 20-ish speakers and you can choose what to go to, but really nothing besides that and we have a little less than 1000.

A woman went missing around our school area... She was found dead near the upper elementary school playground.

Oh my!

And another time, Mr. Bey said, in class, that Toto was hip.

The penny wars at the school I go to are extremely intense, and all of the houses are really competitive. Last year one of the junior houses won. Apparently one of the senior teachers was upset because it was the only year her house hadn't won.

I joined one of my buddies on a half-hour escapade to get $150 in PENNIES. Most fun afternoon adventure ever. They saved all of them until the end of the day, and for a good hour all you could hear in that general area was them putting the pennies into the jars.

At our jr. high school, we have this thing called the Candy Cane Conundrum in which you have to find 2 other people with the same number on their candy cane. It was fun. I wish we had it at our high school.

On Thursday, my friend took 73 plastic spoons from the lunchroom. In social studies, my teacher made him solemnly swear to use each one of the spoons correctly AND to only take up to three pieces of silver/plasticware from the lunchroom at once. And yesterday in health, he dropped every one of the spoons on the ground at once.

My Algebra teacher was making us do a fold thingy... Instead of normally talking through he instructions... He used a gay voice... Then the superintendent walked in. Ummm... Some band friends and I dance with our teachers... And one time the creepy vice principal asked to borrow my friends shoes... yeah....
