You gotta love engineering parents and their connections.

Wish there was a "best routing" event though, we could totally score that sponsorship from Cisco.
BP has this fund thing so if you know someone that works for BP, they can get about $100-500. Exxon also donates, but you would probably need a parent that works there to donate. You could also do a carwash maybe?

Also, since you're in Austin, in the fall you can do UT Stadium Cleanup after football games. It can be quite lucrative. Won't help you much now, but if you do it next year it can help you get ahead on your fundraising.

yeah, and as usual, everyone thinks that THIER team is going to win. However, only two of us can actually win.
Teams attending state: (B teams only)
Hutto
Goodson
Spillane
New Caney
WoodCreek
BRISCOE
Seabrook
Trinity
HSA - San Antonio
HSA - Ft. Worth
Beckendorff
Riverwood
Roberson
Claughton
Kealing
Kelly Lane
St. Stephen
Hopper
HSA - Laredo
HSA - Grand Prairie
HSA - Beaumont
Westbury
Oratory
Greenhill
Edna
Northstar
Liberty
Flour Bluff
Seashore
Austin
My predictions are:
Beckandorff
WoodCreek
Riverwood
Kealing
Kelly Lane
Who knows? I think that Beckandorff will definately get 1st, but the rest...? I think that those people will get in the top 5, but less sure of the order.

I agree that Beckendorff will probably get first.

nothing is decided.
any team has an equal chance of getting first place or second place and going to nationals.
it just takes practice and teamwork.....

but for all you mathematicians...it's
10% luck
20% skill
15% concentrated power of will
5% pleasure
50% pain
100% reason to remember the name

...? But that adds up to 200% A real mathematician wouldn't believe that for a second.

a real mathmatician would see it adds up to 210% and not act to smart ;)
