Trichoptera Larvae
When I did Water Quality while it was still freshwater, these things were the biggest mystery to me. I was so confused by their shelly things.

Yep, that's correct. Funny you should mention those shelly things, I was looking for a good picture of the larvae and I wanted to include the shells, but I wasn't really sure what they were called. I just searched "Trichoptera larvae with shell". Anyone know if there's an official name for it or are they just called shells?
