For the "principles of satellite imagery" how much do we have to know? Do we need to know how the satellites take the pictures, and will there be any questions specifically on this?

But how in depth does it need to be? Is it just the basic stuff?

EDIT-In other words, do you just need to know the types of satellite imagery, or do you have to know how they perform the actual imaging?

Global warming is a very broad area. There's bound to be something on each and every test that you don't know, unless it's ridiculously shallow. The test really could be any difficulty.

Does anyone have an example of a Data Analysis problem?

Charts, graphs, etc. that you need to interpret and go more in depth of what they represent.

The NASA tutorial (http://rst.gsfc.nasa.gov/) starts with a whole lot of pretty complex electromagnetic spectrum stuff, which is pretty dense. How important has that stuff been on the tests you have seen?
