I do want to say this, i think that using login times kinda violates the spirit of the game. It's a fun game, but if people figure it out when we're only like 2 pages into it, it takes away the fun since we dont even get to see the clues.
Not that Im saying youre right, I actually have no idea.
It would be better if we can trust the assassinator to leave some clues as to his identity, and if people would refrain from checking login times, at least until we're well within the game.

Log in times aren't always accurate either. Sometimes it's just a coincidence.

Yeah, but I feel that it is kind of a cheap way to catch an assassinator. Though to be fair, the assassinator should be clever enough to avoid making it obvious.

I think most assassinators have figured out not to log in right after logging out. When I was assassinator, I didn't go on as my regular account for 2 days.

The point of the Assassinator is not to avoid capture, but to entertain everyone and amuse themselves with the chase. Leaving clues and puzzles? That is fun. Making up draconian rules and leaving formulaic one-line ciphers? That is not fun.

Of course, if you get caught right away as Assassinator, that's not really fun for anyone. So you need to figure out how much crumbs to leave on the floor. It's part of the game.

The point is, just don't make it too serious.

The games have been so short recently because everybody is accusing more. It used to be 2 or 3 clues into the game before the first accusation, but now accusations begin right after the 1st clue.

I didn't realize i wasn't soposed to accuse so early and/or use login times as the rational. I'll make sure i wait longer/use the clues for accusing next time

Nah, you can do it. I just thought that it kinda takes away from the fun to have everyone blowing their accusations in the beginning when the game has barely started.

I'm not telling others not to do it (I do it too), I'm just pointing out things I've been noticing. I don't mean to criticize anybody.

well, technically, the game would probably be moving right along if it wasn't for the fact that the assassinator hasn't exactly been on... :?
and i've always hated those cipher-code things, i'd like some actual puzzles and such. those are so much funner to figure out. not that i would be able to anyway
