Bonus : where does Rodinia get its name?
1. What kind of geologic structure is this?
2. Briefly describe how it is formed.

Tricky! It is a
Boudinage
and it forms when
A ridged rock layer is pulled apart and the spaces in-between are filled by less competent rock.
Have anymore obscure structures? I'd like to fill that part of the binder.

Perhaps obscure isn't the right word. Just any geologic structure beside the usual syncline, monocline, horst, etc.
Here's one!
What is it? How do you know?
Hint: It's made of igneous rock.

Igneous extrusion, either a batholith or pluton. It is formed from magma rising, cooling, solidifying, then finally extruding itself above the ground surface.

It is an igneous extrusion, but specifically, it is an
eroded volcanic neck, the surrounding dikes & relatively vertical shape tip it off
