I think it refers to how the ocean changes (e.g. horizontal structure would be continental slope, continental rise, mid-ocean ridges, etc. and vertical structure would be photic, neritic, benthic, etc.)

I assumed that it meant how the chemical concentrations change both vertically and horizontally. So how do concentrations of particular chemicals vary with both depth and latitude. I was using college textbooks I found online to help learn this. I think that what you are suggesting is already covered in letter D (topographic features found in continental margins, estuaries, ocean basins, and mid ocean ridges).

Although El Nino and La Nina have been removed from the rules this year, have you guys been keeping them on? At Cypress Falls invite in Texas, they included El Nino/La Nina so I have kept a section on it in my cheat sheet for those scenarios.

I almost always keep stuff from previous years' rules (we have 4 sheets, so it's not like we'll run out of space). I've heard of this most often with events that change topics frequently (like Meteorology).
