Yeah, I got into some hot water a few years ago over this.
Anyway, I've been to a lot of tournaments. After while, you think you've seen it all. Nooooo, this time, it was line dancing in the lull before awards. You wouldn't think that something like that would take off at all, but it was a thing!

Omg at CLC we had a "talent show" and a haiku battle. A HAIKU BATTLE. I still have a better haiku than anyone in the competition:

I've seen talent shows before, but the haiku battle sounds like fun! Did a lot of people try?
Others,
Crystal Lake Central (Invitational) *this happened
College of Lake County (Regionals) *this has not
This has confused folks for years around these parts. Anyway, I don't see CL Central (might have to start doing that) on Avogadro, so maybe they used a different scoring system. I don't see Millstadt (B) on there, either, so I don't think all IL tournaments are using it.
