Describe commensalism, mutualism, and parasitism, and provide an example for each.

Mutualism: when both organisms benefit, ex: humans and bacteria living in their digestive systems; Commensalism: when one organism benefits and the other is not affected, ex: barnacles living on a whale; Parasitism: one organism benefits and the other is harmed, ex: cowbirds lay their eggs in other birds' nests, this is called brood parasitism

So collapse.

What are the two types of ways that we can classify estuaries?

Based on water circulation, and based on geomorphology?

In situ bioremediation is on-site decontamination of soil or water, keeping it cleaner but taking longer to do than ex situ. Ex situ bioremediation is the decontamination of soil or water that has already been pumped or excavated from the ground, risking a low-quality cleanup but going quickly. In both cases, oxygen is put into the soil/water while removing any toxins. Ex situ is necessary if certain dangerous toxins are present.
