only 2!?! I feel bad for you. we are two weeks away. mostly the operation of microscopes, microscope parts and basic genetics, phenotype and genotype, genetics vocabulary, pedigrees and karytypes, basiclly like what other people have been saying just to know 7th grade biology and chromosomal deficiencies, punnet squares (how to use them) and a ton more, and no i am not listing them in priority, some measurement related questions, maybe tree identification (I haven't even gotten that far yet)

Does anyone understand why you are required to have goggles for this event? I have never had anything on this event that would even remotely require goggles. Usually, the only thing that isn't pencil-and-paper is the microscope station- of which there is always at least one- for which you take off your goggles anyway! I guess it's possible that there could be a "dangerous" lab on this event (I mean, there must be a reason it's in the "lab events" section and not "study events", although that probably has more to do with the fact that "lab" is in its name), but essentially it is a pencil-and-paper study event.

Presumably the same things you're always allowed to bring- goggles and a writing instrument.

i think that the goggles are just to make us feel like it is a real lab...since we are always supposed to wear goggles in lav events, i think maybe they are trying to get us to be...whats the word????

They WISH it was a real lab event, so they make us wear goggles... Still, the most dangerous thing to your eyes in that event is probably your own fingers xD

also bring a calculator.
I don't know the word...?
also we had the find the volume of some random objects, so every time we put it in the beaker the water would splash up onto us, thats probably why our answers were so off...
