Or maybe there's only a few schools they wanted to go to. There's diminishing returns once you get to too many. Unless you're really, really indecisive.

Have seniors decided where they are attending? This list seems dated. Maybe it can be updated if people discuss their colleges here. Seniors, where are you going to school? I applied ED to Penn (mostly because of proximity and nice financial aid), so I guess I was lucky in that sense. I was also lucky in that I had the opportunity to do Science Olympiad with a team that was super serious about it, which I really think molded me into the student I am today...I wouldn't have had a work ethic otherwise Best of luck to next year's seniors!

I also did ED to Columbia (and thankfully got in), but probably would have chosen Columbia even if I got deferred, accepted, and accepted to other colleges. I wanted to go to Columbia because of NYC (and the free admission to certain great museums helped a lot) and because its campus is so nice and because it has a great science and astronomy program.

I just happened to come by the forums since I was laughing at Koko's post on my wall when I accused her on Assassinator in 80 minutes... but anyways since I saw this I just wanted to shout out! And also if you live in a freshman dorm I might end up as your RA!

Definitely a hard decision! Advice for future seniors; appeal your financial aid! I appealed at Brown, and they took out all student loans for all four years and increased my grant aid over tenfold!
