When you check the NY state scio site everyday, to see what the trial events are, only to find out that you have to wait till august =(
2009 events:
Fossils: 1st @ reg. 3rd @ states (stupid dinosaurs...) 5th @ nats.
Dynamic: 1st @ reg. 19thish @ states, 18th @ nats
Herpetology (NOT the study of herpes): NA
Enviro Chem: 39th @ states =(

when you get mad at Wendy's not knowing how experiments work. (E.G. you know how some of the cups say that their meat is the best because it's always fresh and never frozen? then it says that you can prove it by eating their burger, which doesn't really prove anything. there are no variables, etc....)

touche. also, when you have dreams that your team is in an international so competition, and there are people trying to assassinate you, and so your team hides in an abandoned house so that you don't get blown up....yeah.

When after doing forestry for only one competition, you still cant walk past a tree without trying to ID it (though the spruces are still hard for me. They all look the same!)

When 4 or so years after competing in forestry you can still ID almost all of the trees from that list, and do so while wandering around (much to the annoyance of some of your friends).
