I would like to mention in the above test posted by IdahoSciGuy, on question 43 it states both isometric and cubic as a choice. Isometric means the same thing as cubic, in case anyone was confused.

how do you distinguish between ulexite, satin-spar and selenite?

R&M's looks really fun, but for me some of the minerals look alike..

Also in R&M's do you have to answer questions about the Rock or Mineral or just identify them?

You will have to answer questions about the rocks and minerals. It's important that you identify the samples correctly in order to be able to answer the accompanying questions correctly.

I would concentrate on the luster and the cleavage.

I don't understand how you "identify cleavage"...they just look like regular cracks to me... :cry: Man!! I'm so lost here...I miss Fossils :'(
