Re: Summer SO Preperation
The majority of these recent questions would fit better in an event thread than a thread about preparation. Please try to stay on topic.

Wow quiz, I wish myself and my teammates were as dedicated as you.quizbowl wrote:I'm preparing for the first time for real this year. Last year, it was just to brush up on the ID of fossils. This year, it's to help propel our team to nationals. My plan: ID the rocks, ID the insects in Water Quality, build a salinometer and learn some basic estuarine ecology. Not much, but just enough to get my foot into the door.
I'm moving up to C division next year, so I'll only be doing tentative studying for Forestry.
ornithology, forestry, entomology, triple E, green generation, water quality, dynamic planet (lakes & rivers), awesome aquifers, meteorology, robot arm, write it do it. :)
A cone of depression occurs when you drop your scoop of ice cream on the ground on a hot summer day.

Re: Summer SO Preperation
I generally use the summer to rest, not do SO. That's what the school year is for.

Summer is for things you don't have time for during school, like SO. School year is for school. Relaxation is not necessary.paleonaps wrote:I generally use the summer to rest, not do SO. That's what the school year is for.
