Edit 1:
To explain, in "O Z," assuming I'm interpreting things correctly, the cowardly lion returns to a forest of tigers. That's about all I'm basing my protect on, and I'm pretty positive I'm not the target.
Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my!

Drat, winneratlife and haverstall. You have foiled my plans to murder fmtiger124. And it was such a good plan too...
But the killing must continue. I will not rest until every one of you is dead and the story is complete.
Why would a fetus ever get alcohol?
Top of the heap. Savages. Iceland.
Why would you stand around holding a red handkerchief?
Introverted, earth, Venus. Benny. Plural.

Okay, that first part completely screams Brave New World. They treat fetuses with alcohol. There are savages in the book. Two characters are exiled to Iceland.
As for the second part, I can't quite put my finger on it.
Just pointing that out...

Just for the heck of it, I accuse Aubrey048 because fmtiger was the target of the first clue, while the entire game he has stated that he think she is the assassinator. Not to mention Aubrey seems like someone who knows her literature.

I accuse Kokonilly because she is fond of literature and the clue was a disjointed word clue.
I apologize if this accusation is premature.

IdahoSciGuy, you are incorrect, though that was who I was trying to frame.
Congratulations, luo. First-time officer and winner to boot. PM me your choice.
Evidently I fail at being sassy, though I do think the clues were pretty good.
Good game.
