UGH. We have to leave on Tuesday the 17th! :(
Of course, we live in Hawaii, so driving is out of the question hahahaha.
Thank god my school is nice enough to fund us 100%.
BUT UGHHHHH it's like a 11+ hour flight.

To people who are getting there via AIRPLANE,
how are you guys bringing your towers/mousetrap cars/windpower/helicopters?
Fed Ex?

we have a coach or two drive the building devices
Fed Ex tends to break building devices so i wouldnt recommend it, although coming from Hawaii, it might be the only logical way

You could take a submarine.
Honestly, I feel very bad for you in that regard. There really is no good way to get them there.

Can't you just take it as a carry on?

You can't really take something like Mission Possible as a carry-on... it won't fit under the seat in front of you, or in the seat next to you, or in the overhead bin. :?

If you're a builder, you should be able to build a bridge from Hawaii to Cali, duh.

Jaykay.

But... I'd either:

a) Ship it with LOTS of packing peanuts, and label it fragile.
b) Head over a couple days early and build there. Ahahahaha

Labeling it "fragile" won't do a thing, sorry to say. Such happened with my marble chess set that we labeled "fragile" all over the box, yet we still saw the box being thrown by the workers into the airplane. It came out cracked. It had packing peanuts in it, too :(
If you built it before the competition...WIN
