Do we have to wear long-sleeved shirts here (like Forensics, Chem Lab, etc.)?

First of all, does it matter? >_> And you don't need long sleeved shirts.

Well, I want to know if I have to wear a sweatshirt or long-sleeved shirt to the event. I don't want to get DQ'd for anything dumb like that.

oh boy, this is going to be interesting. I've never done an event like this.
also, now I have no excuse if I bomb anything in enriched bio... but at least I'll have background knowledge coming into this event. hey... and from this event, I'll know stuff for AP Bio next year... yesss!
meanwhile, I'll have nothing actually useful to post until I figure out exactly what this event is... I've heard it's mostly cell bio + diseases?
how in-depth do we need to know the diseases?

How do you learn all the microscopes? Are there some really good websites for it?

Microscopy is a fairly common subject, so finding primers shouldn't be too challenging. A quick search led me to this guy. Take a look around.

Do you think we'll need to know the name of the species that causes each disease? Or just what type of organism causes the disease?

I don't know for sure, but you could put the name of the organism on the cheat sheet. Better safe than sorry.

I think you need to know the cells[parts, functions and all], diseases they can cause, specific microbes[and their parts and functions], the microbes' ancestry, and how microbes affect daily life. A big pain to memorize.

Well, parts and functions of a cell are generally uniform among plant or animal cells. You just need to know why they're there so that you can answer questions asking what would happen if you took away one organelle, etc.
Microbial ancestry, I think, would only apply to mitochondria and chloroplasts - check in previous pages of the thread to learn about that.
It's not terribly hard, but if you don't want to memorize it I would suggest making a cheat sheet and learning to read 3-point font (no lie - that's how mine ended up last year).
