Re: Scioly Assassination 56: Mission Impossible
This clue targets two people. As such Informants will also be allowed to protect to keep the ratio the same.
A conversation between a "philosopher" and a confused guy:
Love?
It's complicated.
How?
You'd think it would be obvious. You see, it's all about teowibfw.
Teowibfw?
It's good energy.
Good?
Yes Good. It was created by this guy named Bob.
Bob?
Bob Ocean.
Ocean?
Yes. Bob Ocean.
Bob ocean?
You're a very confused person.
A very confused person?
Yes very confused.
Very?
Yes very, now go. Quickly before you ask any more questions.
Quickly?
YES. sigh...questions, questions, that's all love brings.

Ok, so two lines stand out that caught my attention. They are in bold. Most likely "teowibfw" is a cipher, and the "good energy" is the key. Bob Ocean is probably the second clue.Assassinator wrote: A conversation between a "philosopher" and a confused guy:

*goes to work on clue*
EDIT: A google search on "good energy" shows that Feng Shui is a good energy

Bob Ocean could be a reference to either Robert Falcon Scott of Robert Peary, both of whom marched to geographic poles.
OR it could ref. Cybert, who lives in Texas, which borders on the Gulf, where the Oil spill occurred, so it could target Z because of the BP avatar.

Found a page referencing love as good energy, I don't know if it's actually helpful though.

Both of those are kinda out there.... Bob Ocean more likely refers to Hurricane Bob. Not quite sure how, yet.paleonaps95 wrote:Bob Ocean could be a reference to either Robert Falcon Scott of Robert Peary, both of whom marched to geographic poles.

Re: Scioly Assassination 56: Mission Impossible
I tried plugging Teowibfw into a ceaser cipher, as well as the vigenere cipher with the keys good, energy, good energy, and bob ocean. Got nothing.

New Rule15. All Protects must have a "valid" clue-related reason. If a protect is deemed invalid, the person will have 8 hours to come up with a "valid" reason

8 hours? Clue related? Hm...
Btw, amerikestrel is the assassinator! I'm kidding, I don't even know who it is!
Also, because it worked out this time, I have a new preposition:
Instead of the winning officer pming the assassinator their choice, and the assassinator then pming the choice, why not have the assassinator just pm the winning officer, so that the officer can pass it on as he/she wishes? This way, the assassinator could also play the next game, and instead of relying on both the assassinator AND officer to be on time in pming, we would only need to rely on the officer (the assassinator would send the pm to the officer as soon as accused correctly)

Uhh... Idk, I suppose its worth a try. I vote we have that system for just the upcoming round. If it works well, then maybe we could continue it?
