Given that the guard knows all about math, doesn't this make it impossible? That was my first thought.
I'm going to assume that the "I don't know" fits with 1 though...
He is not the limiting factor in this, assume he knows everything about math. (or she)
The I don't know can fit with all three, though I usually see it with 2, and sometimes 3, I don't think I've seen it with 1 but it definitely could.

Talk really slow, saying "Is the number prime..." and then when he says yes or no add "...and even?" It's a bit tricky, though. You have to do it just right.

One question, not two.
Right, I'll give you guys a hint to one of the more popular ones, or rather, the hint is above me a couple posts in that nice demotivator.

But it is one question, I'm just talking really slow!

I admire your tactics XD. Maybe with a very nice guard, but I doubt it. You definitely get most amusing answer.

"On September 21, 1997, a divide by zero error on board the USS Yorktown (CG-48) Remote Data Base Manager brought down all the machines on the network, causing the ship's propulsion system to fail."
Anyways, the answer is simple: "What happens when you divide by zero?" The guard should answer, "I don't know." Using his curiosity against him, get him to try dividing by 0 and the resulting tear in the universe should not only create a gaping hole in the prison wall, the guard himself will also go bye-bye and you can escape- just make sure you stay as far away as possible when he tries dividing by zero so you don't die as well.
Edit: Better now, zz?

If the guard is vaporized, wouldn't you be vaporized as well? Or does that count as escaping?
EDIT: I suppose, AlphaTauri.

That was my idea. Or tell him to leave his keys a yard away from the bars, and go to the bathroom across the hall to divide by zero. The force will send the keys into your cell, and you can escape.

Heh, somewhat amusing, but I feel responsible for taking this topic way off track, do you guys want me to just reveal one of the answers?

One of? If there's more than one I'm fine with that. Actually, if there is just one I'm fine with that too.
