EDIT: Robodude isn't the only one to make that error. A quick search reveals that Avis_de-Incienda, smartkid222, and soobsession have all misspelled croman as "crowman," though robodude does make this mistake most frequently.

It appears to be a sturgeon, the picture taken from Wikipedia.

thinking out loud, they are osteichthyans, which could draw back to someone with fossils experience.
EDIT: a bit more research shows that they are present in the Snake River, which is the avatar of Deeisenberg, who did do fossils.

Edit 2: Im probably wrong about the electromagnet theory, but Blue cobra is also a common poster on the CoTomorrow thread.

yes, but im pretty sure that is just coincidental. the big thing is the sturgeon cryptographer.
