My guess is that different parts might be references to events. Like the reference to Earth sci might mean an Earth sci event, and mariokart might be about game on. I’m not sure who would fit these categories though.

Them going to Windy City might just be part of the story but that could suggest someone from Illinois/Indiana (/me looks at Nydauron)

Also about the windy city thing, don’t forget, there’s TCS, Torchic, Fyren and I. But if this is another reference to events, maybe Windy City could be referring to a flight event like wright stuff or elg?

Balsa Man may not be the best form of evidence; i definitely was not active back then (really only since ~autumn 2019) yet i’m reasonably aware of what happened
