Heard the order was Hunter, Bronx Science, Collegiate, and Regis that qualified. Haven't heard of scores yet: check Ezra for it.

Congrats to all of Great Neck South for placing so well at the Nassau West regional! It was very impressive (and scary) seeing at least 2 or 3 GNS teams medal in like every event! .@who ever did astro for GNS A and C, I'll be sure to beat y'all next time we meet!

Perhaps you are thinking of scores from some time ago? We got 35 a couple years back, but while I've been in high school there's been a lot of Team A/Team B competition for top spots at regionals events and we were nowhere near that score. From my discussions with Team B people, often one or two questions made the difference for my events at regionals.

Tbh kind of underwhelming score by Syosset. Roughly 50-60 teams at the tournament right? Any bombs?
43 teams. widi got 16 everything else is top 6. I wouldn't say underwhelming- this is half our score from last year. (137)
Also despite being fully stacked, team b and c beat a in multiple events. Our superscore was 49 with widi again dragging the score down with 12th.
Hm I thought scores had been better in the past - maybe I confused it with the big three's regional scores.

My coach and I did some research leading up to our own regionals this weekend checking out some of the top scores in its history, and yep in 2013 Syosset did get 37 points, but that was notably with 4 events dropped. (which is still exemplary)
I don’t know when they stopped dropping events in Nassau East, (ik in 2017 they dropped two, I’m pretty sure the last time Nassau West did it was 2017 lol) but 68 counting all 23 events is undoubtedly extremely impressive!

Found Mid-State C Regional results from last weekend:
https://ac1f65f9-4a44-4402-ab0e-d927555 ... ef3716.pdf
Five bids to state
1. Fayetteville-Manlius High School A (51)
2. Jamesville Dewitt High School (162)
3. Cicero-North Syracuse High School (177)
4. Fayetteville-Manlius High School B (182)
5. Clinton High School (194)
6. Chittenango High School (251)
7. Baldwinsville High School (292)
This is low key a pretty good score from FM looking back on it, a couple years ago FM's B team was 8th or 9th iirc.
E: nvm FM A also scored 31 that year so it's best to just take nothing from these results.
