Man, I wish we had that chance last year. We got 2nd, losing to FM. And more importantly, they beat me in Fossils. I will never forgive their fossil people.
2009 events:
Fossils: 1st @ reg. 3rd @ states (stupid dinosaurs...) 5th @ nats.
Dynamic: 1st @ reg. 19thish @ states, 18th @ nats
Herpetology (NOT the study of herpes): NA
Enviro Chem: 39th @ states =(
Cell Bio: 9th @ reg. 18th @ nats
Remote: 6th @ states 3rd @ Nats
Ecology: 5th @ Nats

You guys did great, but in all honesty it wasn't like it was close. What was it, like 130 points between you and FM?

It wasn't close last year, but it potentially could be this year, with what RandomPerson52 said and with the fact that WM's team, if nothing else, is more organized than usual this year.

Yeah, 2nd and 3rd were pretty close, but FM kinda beat us by a lot.
Still, like Phenyl said, the team is much more organized this year. Last year was a nightmare, we actually had 16 people and didnt decide who was gonna be the alternate until the day before the competition.

That's Saturday, January 23rd - not Saturday, January 2nd.
