ok, I just searched state flags. I only see two flags that have those colors: New Jersey and Delaware. Here's the New Jersey flag: http://www.netstate.com/states/symb/flags/nj_flag.htm. And this is the Delaware flag: http://www.netstate.com/states/symb/flags/de_flag.htm. The New Jersey colors keep changing depending on the website though, so I think we go with the Delaware flag. On that flag at the bottom says December 7th, 1787. That's one day after my birthday, and is the day of Pleaides' birthday, so I think we should definitely protect Pleaides.

I disagree. Croman, I don't think the officers should protect on that basis. I just have a hard time thinking that the clue relates to state flags. The solution would be more elegant than that, I think. The assassinator didn't think - "Lets kill him, what's his birthday - oh yeah! that's on the delaware state flag, so I'll give a series of colors that are on the flag sorta". At least, I doubt he or she thought that. I think there's something to the words... the bit about search has got to be important. Maybe that means to search on the scioly boards (like using the search feature?) or use something like google...

Yeah, when you think of it that way, it kinda does seem far off. The search a lot probably has to do with a search engine of some sort, whether on scioly, google, or yahoo. I'm guessing google or scioly, since those are more common. Maybe if you search those colors on scioly, then you take whoever said it most? although that would seem tedious and complicated.

Let's assume there's nothing to mislead us. I'd assume the order is very important, and also the fact there are 2 blues.
