Thanks a lot for the meteogram. It will help me a lot. I did read the wiki, but my partner and I weren't sure which method to use. We can't use some of the methods because they involve past weather condition. The only method we thought was reasonable was the s=d/t but we weren't sure whether we would be given some data so that we can calculate the speed.

well most of the time it is good to know all the types because if they are giving you a question that requires extensive forecasting they will normally will give you enough info to use multiple ways the Speed=Distance divided by time is useful if the front is traveling at a given rate i have never had a test that asked that type of question though.

if is normally rare that they will ask you a specific question about forecasting though most of the time it was "billy lives here and there is a cold front coming from the north and is expected to arrive at this time tomorrow what weather can he expect during the frontal passage and after the front has passed?"

also there is normally a good amount of questions requiring you to label where fronts are and which direction they are moving

Like i may have mentioned before try the WIki it has 99% of the information you will need to cover

However you do need to go into more depth than the wiki for most of the info
