Is this true? Assuming you mean standardized across the whole state, that would make sense because our regional competition tests were not only significantly harder but formatted very differently from our invitational at the same college.

Does anyone have the results for the Lower Hudson Valley Regionals? How long would it normally take for the results to be posted on Ezra?

From past year experience, the results don't usually go up on Ezra. It's odd, but I've never been able to find them.

My coach recently sent me the results though we don't have scores for each team.

Lower Hudson Valley Regional 2019
1) Scarsdale A
2) Ardsley A
3) Horace Greeley A
4) John Jay A
5) Fox Lane A
6) Yonkers A

Top 6 qualify for the state competition.

Ithaca has gotten quite good lately, is this their first regionals win? (or am I just old?) Also rip Maine-Endwell

Mount Academy and Spackenkill looking strong as usual - I'm not familiar with historical scores here so I don't know whether Spackenkill is a little weaker or Mount Academy is a little stronger.

I'll probably revise after cornell.
1. Columbia- based off of a 4th at MIT I think they're the strongest team in NY.
2. FM- Yes a poor Princeton performance makes this iffy, but they usually do bad at invites and rebound at states. If they look terrible at Cornell then Ward takes this.
3. Ward- Basically Ward Columbia and FM are almost always top 3 at states, and I don't see that changing yet. Could easily take second though.
4. GNS- Decent Princeton showing, and usually always a strong school at states
5. Syosset- Seems stronger then previous years (Minus a poorer regionals performance). Good showing at LISO/Brown, and a ok one at MIT makes me think we can take at least 5, maybe 4 if some inconsistant events don't bomb.
6. The Mount Academy- They've had poorish showings at LISO and Yale, that was more of many bombs mixed in many very strong individual placements. If they figure out everything I can them placing up to 4th, but also sliding to maybe even 8th if their inconsistancies carry to states. I think they'll be a real wild card, but I don't feel comfortable placing them below 6th due to them being 4th just last year.
7. Stuyvesant- Ok performances at LISO and Yale, I think they can take 7th
8. Kellenburg- Looked good at Yale, but also lost to Chaminade at LISO/Regionals.
9. Spakenkill- Can't find any invite data, but were 8th last year
10. Staten Island Tech- 10th at states last year but a poorer LISO performance makes even 10 a bit iffy.
Other possible top 10:
Chaminade- beating Kellenburg a couple times shows they definitely can be top 10
Williamsville East- got 11th last yr

For div B it's kind of hard to tell, and I will definitely be revising this after Cornell because we haven't really seen anything from Eagle Hill, Goff, or Murphy yet. But there have been results from Bay Academy, Gelinas, and other prominent schools, so here goes nothing.

1. Gelinas
- Very strong contender this year with great placings at LISO and Rustin
2-5. Some combination of Eagle Hill/Goff/Murphy/Bay Academy
- Because of the lack of results I'm kind of hesitant to definitively put anyone here, but I do think that Bay Academy has a decent chance at making nationals this year; they've been working hard, as we can see in their invitational results
6. C.J. Hooker?
- Based on LISO and Rustin results, they seem pretty good and they'll definitely be able to get at least top 8 at states
7. South Woods
- This is pretty speculative but they performed very well at regionals this year when they beat C.P. Weber
8. Pleasantville?
- Based on their admirable LISO placing (8th) because they placed above all the other New York teams that usually get 6th and below
9. C.P. Weber
- C.P. Weber seems much weaker this year, from their 2nd place at regionals to their 26th at Rustin and 12th at LISO
10. Islip?
- Not really sure who else to put in here, as not too many regionals have happened yet, but Islip seems to be doing relatively well based on their 14th at LISO, and the fact that Port Jeff is definitely not going to do as well this year because they lost a lot of good 9th graders

So, yeah, this is all speculation, but Cornell results will definitely improve my predictions, and as the div B regionals start happening, we'll see more about who's doing well and who isn't.
