Remeber that clues may be easy at times. (I mean John tried to kill me with a mushroom...)
Then again it is always a good measure to look deeper as some clues are deceitful and can have a double meaning.

I googled Mun River, which is a river in Thailand. It's also called Moon River, which refers to... a lot of different things. One of the results is a song performed by Audrey Hepburn and written by Johnny Mercer, who is from Georgia. Here are the lyrics, if anyone can discern a connection.

ETA: The song begins with "Moon river, wider than a mile / I'm crossing you in style someday". Some wide rivers in the US are the Mississippi (some sections are 11 miles wide) and Platte (used to be a mile wide) Rivers.

Sure, just an idea. Jan. 7, 1953 was also when President Harry Truman announced American development of the hydrogen bomb, so that could be another evidence at TCS.
