Granted it was never going to be in rotation for me anyway but I still want to do EV. Ending buggy on such a sad note last year was especially traumatizing, and I'd like to redeem myself.

Can relate haha. I was lucky enough to do Rocks and Minerals in 2017 and I got semi-decent at it pretty quickly, and I had a great time studying it. But when I moved to Div C in 2018, I had to let people on my HS team who had done it together the year before do it. We never had a tryout or anything, it was just assumed they would do it, and I was unfortunately glossed over. They still did great all year, and I filled in for it at one competition, so it all worked out lol but I was only ever able to do what was probably my second favorite event ever for one year, which is still somewhat of a regret of mine. Oh well lol

Although, I suppose I was fortunate to do it for that one year! I was always happy with my placements and I really enjoyed learning about the rocks and minerals, knowledge which I still retain and make use of today! So I guess it didn't really get away, it just didn't stay long enough rip

Green Gen: I would've loved to redo the event which landed me a roster spot back in 2016 for nats. Also would've loved to make up for that 47th place.
Cell Biology: If fast facts taught me one thing, it's that I love cells.
Environmental Chem: Did it last year as a trial, and I wanted to do it the correct way this time.
Dynamic Planet Tectonics (I'm assuming it was due to rotate): I miss the days where I had no responsibilities other than to label plates and determine which layer or dike was deposited first.

Codebusters/Green Gen B: I haven't been able to coach too much this year, so next year was when I was gonna step it up. Codebusters is an event I truly enjoy, and as grateful as I am that it stays another year, I would've liked to be on the other side of the coin. As for green gen, I'm down to coach anything ecology-related.

Always wanted to compete in it and I did for one invitational and one regional but my other events always conflicted :(

This was the one event I never got to place in even though I put in some critical hours into the event. It always saddened me how even in Regionals I was 1 place away from placing, and how I never got to redo the event the next year (or in states, since our Division B team didn't qualify for states).
