hehe, sorry, didnt mean to insult your favorite event.
I just wasnt a fan of herpetology, all the snakes looked the same to me (as did the turtles...and amphibians, and well...everything else).
Actually, I could ID lizards, but that was it.

for some reason birds interest me, but i don't know if i could really do an ID event. i'd have to figure out what exactly they're like first.

That's the same for me. Birds just seem so interesting and cool. But I probably am bad at ID events.

Ive done every ID event from forestry in 7th grade to herpetology in 11th (didnt do it this year). And I mean both the bio and earth science ones.
My favorites are, in order, Fossils, Rocks and Minerals, Forestry, Entomology, and Herpetology. I assume that ornithology would between forestry and entomology, but I cant know unless I do it, which sadly, I never will =(

Actually I think forestry occasionally takes ecology's place. Does anyone know the whole rotation for B? So far, I've seen Don't Bug Me, A+R, and this. Are there any others for the live animal ID? Currently, I am making an ID paragraph on each bird on the list. Unfortunately with finals coming up, I might not finish for a month.

Ecology replaced Water Quality for B division, and Im not sure what it was in C.

And animal ID is forestry->bugs->herp(A+R)->birds->forestry in that order.
