I was focusing more on the number of jumps, instead of the gap distance.
(I haven't got my score in regionals)

I had 4 jumps, 7,6,7, and 11cms. Have you measured yours to see what they are? You can estimate based off of that.JionPark wrote:I was focusing more on the number of jumps, instead of the gap distance.

Same, I also got 4 jumps. Originally I had 5 gaps, but the third gap wasn't counted, because the ball didn't jump on that gap. The jumps were 7, 7, 5, 5 centimeters.hippo9 wrote:I had 4 jumps, 7,6,7, and 11cms. Have you measured yours to see what they are? Ok so lets say you have it at 80 cm and then you get 45sec out of 45 sec for the time score, then you would score a 230. Also, how did a gap not jump through the air? Wouldn't that not be a gap? Or did it just not work?JionPark wrote:Same, I also got 4 jumps. Originally I had 5 gaps, but the third gap wasn't counted, because the ball didn't jump on that gap. Well if it didn't work, but you still were able to have all of the other jumps work, that seems like a pretty cool design to me. On mine, if a jump didn't work the run was jut over, or it somehow miraculously made it to another part of the coaster (pulled that one off to get 1st at regionals).JionPark wrote:The third gap didn't work.hippo9 wrote:Ok so lets say you have it at 80 cm and then you get 45sec out of 45 sec for the time score, then you would score a 230. Ok so it pretty much just wouldn't make the "gap", but would still continue on somewhere on that second floor.JionPark wrote:There's two floor in the roller coaster, and the third gap is in the first floor, making the ball go to the second floor.
Yep.hippo9 wrote:Ok so it pretty much just wouldn't make the "gap", but would still continue on somewhere on that second floor.JionPark wrote:There's two floor in the roller coaster, and the third gap is in the first floor, making the ball go to the second floor.
